Roles of BOG in MMH

MMH is governed by the Board of Governors which are five in number. The Governors are appointed for a minimum term of three years. They have the following role within MMH;

1. Maintaining the broad oversight of the Munawwar Memorial Hospital activities, policies, practices and performance.

2. Overview, ratify and monitor management policies, practices, performance, and monitor compliance

3. Ensure that the contractual requirements of any Performance and Funding Agreements with the contractors are met. Overview annual accounts and budgets.

4. Develop strategic plans for the institution

5. Network on the behalf of the institution to assist in achieving institutional goals with key stakeholders groups, in particular, members

6. Take special role in the time of crisis

7. Advise and support the CEO (medical director) on matters concerning the development of the institution.
