Munawwar Welfare Foundation(MWF) CHAKWAL

History & introduction

Munawwar Welfare Foundation Chakwal is a non sectarian, non political, non profit and Non-government Organization registered as a charity in Chakwal under the Registration Authority of District Officer Social Welfare Office, District Chakwal, Reference letter DOSW/CKL/05-22 Dated 02-05-06. The Chakwal based foundation has been established with executive body who participate on voluntary basis.

Role of MWF

MWF is working towards the sustainability of externally funded programs funded by the external donors, when they finally withdraw. MWF is currently working in the following areas;

MCH Outreach Program

Membership Criteria

Every person can get the membership of the foundation if he/she is;

Mentally stable
More than 18 years of age
Has good moral values
Agree with the rules, regulations and constitution of the Foundation
Pays the member ship fee i.e. Rs.100/financial year
Lives or does business in the areas of Foundation’s activities
Has motivation to help the needy people.

Membership benefits

The members participate in the organizational activities on volunteer basis as it is a welfare organization, but they can get the benefits like;

Can refer the patients to the hospital for eye as well as gynecology patients
Can get a eye and gynecology camp conducted in their communities
Have the facility of school screening in their communities
Is helpful in maintaining social contacts

Meetings & Approval

Executive Body meeting is arranged monthly and General Body meeting is conducted quarterly. All the issues and decisions regarding foundation are discussed in the Executive Body Meeting. The solutions are proposed for the issues and the approval is done in General Body Meeting. Annual Accounts and Budgets are also approved within the same.
